Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas seeks a Per Diem Food Service Worker to contribute to patient meal services and cafeteria operations. You will prepare and deliver patient trays, service in the cafeteria, and help maintain a clean, orderly kitchen and dining area.

Flexible shift options, county food handlers certification required on hire, and a start date that aligns with hospital needs. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred; prior food-service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

• Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
