Job summary

Unidine is hiring a part time Food Service Worker at Waterville Residential Care Center in Waterville, NY. The schedule is Monday through Friday with rotating weekends; compensation is $16.00 per hour. Prior dietary aide or LTC experience is preferred.

You will assist in food prep, serving, and maintaining safety and cleanliness to support resident care. Join a team focused on delivering quality meals, while upholding sanitation standards and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.

Unidine is hiring immediately for a part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER position.

• Location: Waterville Residential Care Center - 220 Tower Street, Waterville, NY 13480.
• Schedule: Part time schedule; Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Rotating weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Prior dietary aide or long-term care (LTC) experience is perferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
