Job summary

Taher, Inc. is seeking a food service aide to assist with preparing, serving, and distributing chef-created meals in a K-12 setting. You will help maintain food safety, handle basic arithmetic for transactions, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Regular shifts, Tuesday - Friday 7:15-1:15, joining a family-owned, chef-driven food service management company with a nationwide footprint. You will work with a professional team focused on nutritious, authentic food for guests and students.

Qualifications

• Food service experience preferred or customer service experience desired.
• Ability to do simple arithmetic and handle cash/change.
• Ability to make correct change and use a basic computation device.
• Contributes to a positive work environment.
• Demonstrates integrity and respects confidentiality.
• Dependable, punctual.
• Independent self-starter able to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Follows food safety requirements/guidelines.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.
