Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a dedicated hospital dietary aide at Centennial Hills Hospital to prepare patient meals, assemble trays, and ensure accurate delivery to patients. You will support the dietary team, maintain safety standards, and help ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, English proficiency, and prior food handling experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of patient trays and accurate setup and delivery of patient meals.
• Provide quality service to patients and ensure meals are served timely.

Job Description

Responsible for preparation of patient trays and accurate setup and delivery of patient meals to ensure quality service to patient for optimum health.

Education

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language.

Experience

Previous experience preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling and storage required

License/Certification

Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card.

Other

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department. Ability to work and cooperate with members of hospital staff.
