Hudson School District SAU 81 is looking for a Part-Time Food Service Worker at Alvirne High School for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves preparing, cooking, serving, and managing food items, with a commitment of 3 hours daily from 10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The position offers a starting pay of $15.50 per hour and accrued sick time. No experience is required, but candidates must obtain ServSafe certification within their first 90 days.

Position Overview

Hudson is a big town with a small-town feel. Our comprehensive K-12 public school district is the heart of the community. Our schools are built on relationships – with each other, with students and with the community. The Hudson School District is seeking a Part-Time Food Service Worker at Alvirne High School for the 2025-2026 school year. The Food Service Worker performs the essential tasks of cashiering, food prep, and other tasks to meet the goals of our Food Service Program. This part-time position works 3 hours per day (10:15 a.m. – 1:15 p.m.) Monday – Friday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, serve and store food items within standard guidelines.
• Food storage management including moving foods to and from freezers and refrigerators and storeroom.
• Maintain the kitchen and cafeteria, including the cleaning of all wares and equipment.

Compensation

Starting rate of pay is $15.50 per hour.

Benefits

This position offers accrued sick time.
