Job summary

Summit is seeking a motivated food service worker for a correctional facility kitchen in Garnett, KS. In this part-time, onsite role you will prepare, serve and distribute meals, rotating through tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with diverse clientele daily, develop a range of kitchen skills, and support management as needed. Compensation is $16.00 per hour with weekly pay and a benefits package.

• Prior food service experience preferred.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a motivated food service worker to our correctional facility kitchen team in Garnett, KS. As a food service worker, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks, learn a variety of skills, and interact with a diverse clientele daily in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

Preparing, serving and distributing food, and may require working in various areas of the department, such as the tray line, dish room, cafeteria and storeroom.
