Job summary

Garden City Hospital in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Food Service teammate to support patient meal service, the hospital cafeteria, and related food service tasks. This role emphasizes quality, compassion, and community, with a flexible shift schedule that fits around patient care needs.

You will prepare and deliver patient trays, service the cafeteria, work on tray line, stock storage areas, prepare nourishments, wash dishes and pots, and maintain clean floors and waste removal,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of patient and non patient food service duties such as preparing and delivering patient trays, servicing the cafeteria, working on tray line, stocking storage areas, preparing nourishments, dishwashing and pot washing, mopping and sweeping of floors and emptying of trash as well as other related tasks.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• Starting July 1, 2017, High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• County Specific requirement.
• County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current.
