Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at EAST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY. You will assist in food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean service area while delivering friendly, customer-focused service on campus.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a fast-paced food service environment. Full- or part-time opportunities support campus operations and student needs.

• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts.

Employment Type:

Full-Time or Part-Time

Pay Range:

$11.00 per hour - $14.00 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Food Service Worker at Sodexo, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of vibrant menusand ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people's faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include:

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served. Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.

• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area.

• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations

• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity

• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
