Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in North Canton, OH is seeking an energetic Food Service Worker for a part-time position. You will assist in food preparation, set up stations, and greet guests in our dining areas.

This role emphasizes teamwork, speed, hospitality and adherence to safety standards, with opportunities for training and growth within a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods and store food properly.

• Follow guest service procedures: smile, eye contact, and greet guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment per rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask while performing duties.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Food Service Worker.

This is a part-time position in North Canton, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas
• Follow proper guest service procedures whenever interacting with others by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures
• Maintain a fast pace and ability to multitask when performing duties

Requirements:

• Previous food service experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect
• Maintain a professional relationship with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives
