Job Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the manager, this position sets up, works, and cleans respective positions of patient tray line, dish unit, pots & pans, cafeteria or food production units. This position performs numerous activities that require constant interaction with co-workers and guests, must function as a team player, and provide prompt, courteous friendly service that exemplifies our commitment to Service Excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
- Works assigned position on tray stations placing appropriate items on trays neatly, accurately and deliver carts to floors all within time guidelines.
- Works assigned position in dish unit, pot and pan, or cart delivery using PPE'S, correct sanitation procedures all within time guidelines.
- Work area and equipment properly stocked, cleaned and sanitized according to established department standards and HAACP.
- Teamwork and flexibility. Is flexible to meet department needs. Picks up extra time, works over when needed. Mentors new employees.
- Prepares and delivers patient nourishments, floor stock, late trays and other requests in accordance with established procedures.
