Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Worker for the ASBURY PARK SCHOOL DISTRICT location. Weekdays – varying shifts, full-time employment. Pay range starts at $15.50 and goes to $16.00 per hour.

You will assist in food preparation and service, help with setups, maintain clean work areas, and provide friendly customer service to students and staff.

Responsibilities

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served; assist in setup and serving from counters and steam tables.

• Attend and show up on time for scheduled shifts with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned depending on client requirements.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Service Worker at Sodexo, you are a pair of helping hands and a good mood motivator. In this role, you will prepare and serve a variety of vibrant menusand ensure all working areas are kept clean and tidy. Your welcoming customer service puts a smile on people’s faces and makes an impact in their everyday lives.

Responsibilities include

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served. Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils and provide general stocking duties in service area.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
