Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a Food Service Utility Shift Supervisor for a full-time night shift at Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, SC. The role focuses on directing associates, scheduling, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a hospital dining setting.

Ideal candidates will have prior supervisory experience and are expected to train staff, manage performance, and collaborate with management to meet production goals and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and encourage advancement within the organization.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY SHIFT SUPERVISOR position.
• Location: Prisma Health Richland - 5 Richland Medical Park Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. Note: online applications accepted only.

• Requirement: Previous supervisory experience required.
• Pay Range: $18.50per hour to$22.00per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
