Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking staff at Catawba College in Salisbury, NC to maintain kitchen areas and keep equipment clean. The role focuses on sanitation, food prep surface cleaning, and overall housekeeping across the campus dining operation.

Responsibilities include floor care, surface cleaning, trash handling, supply movement, and assisting with event setups. Candidates must follow safety standards and may perform additional duties as needed in a fast-paced dining

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other prep surfaces.
• Empty trash and steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies.
• Distribute utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoes out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front‑of‑house set up.
• Assists with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
