Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education at Rider University is hiring for a part-time Food Service Utility. This role requires prior food service experience and supports kitchen cleanliness and operations on a Sunday–Thursday schedule from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Lawrence Township, NJ.

Responsibilities include maintaining work areas and equipment, sanitation, trash handling, and assisting with setup and deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles garbage cans with proper sanitation.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house setup.
• Loads or unloads and delivers supplies and product as needed.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as required.
• Follows outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Location : Rider University - 2083 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Township, NJ 08648. Note: online applications accepted only .

• Pay Range : $16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.

• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.

• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.

• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
