Job summary

Compass Group USA's Flik Independent School Dining unit at John Burroughs School in Saint Louis, MO is hiring for Food Service Utility roles, available as full-time and part-time positions. The role supports kitchen operations, keeps work areas clean, and assists with food prep and service to ensure a smooth dining experience.

Shifts are generally Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm with overtime options; nights and weekends are not required.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, baking, and/or food service experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen supporting multiple stations.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and place it into designated containers; steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front of house setup.
• Load or unload and deliver supplies and product.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Comply with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part timeFOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions.
• Location: John Burroughs School - 755 South Price Road, Saint Louis, MO 63124. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, overtime options. No nights, holidays or weekends. Further details upon interview.
