Bon Appétit Management Company is hiring for a full-time Food Service Utility at The Hangar in South San Francisco. Location is 460 Forbes Boulevard, and online applications are accepted only. Schedule is Monday–Friday; hours may vary. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. No prior experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes work surfaces, tables, refrigerators and prep areas.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; cleans with steam or hoses.
• Moves supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table setup and front-of-house setup.
• Loads, unloads and delivers supplies and product as needed.
• Distributes utensils and portable equipment as required.
• Follows sanitation and safety guidelines.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
