Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring a Food Service Utility for a full-time, afternoon shift in North Dartmouth, MA. The role maintains kitchen areas and ensures equipment and utensils are clean and orderly.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, surface sanitation, trash removal, and assisting with banquets or front-of-house setup. Benefits are offered for full-time staff as described in the posting.

Responsabilités

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash work surfaces, tables, walls, and equipment.
• Handle trash removal and sanitation tasks.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas.
• Support setup for banquets and front-of-house events.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies.

• We are hiring immediately for a full time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY position.
• Address: 285 Old Westport Rd, North Dartmouth MA 02747 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday - Friday. 1:30 PM - 8:00 PM. Weekends may be included. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service utility, working independently on cleaning tasks, kitchen maintenance, and specialty projects experience preferred.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
