Job summary

Compass Group USA’s Flik Independent School Dining is hiring a full-time Food Service Utility at Sage Hill School in Newport Coast, CA. The role maintains kitchen areas, handles dishwashing and food prep, and supports safe sanitation.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Pay range $20.00–$21.00 per hour. Nights, weekends, and holidays off; free meals and uniforms available at select locations. Prior dishwashing/food prep experience required.

• Previous dishwashing and food prep experience required.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and cleans garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading or unloading and delivering supplies.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements.
• Fulfills other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
