Gourmet Dining & Chartwells Higher Education is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Utility at Drew University, The Commons, 36 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 am to 11:30 pm. Prior food service experience is preferred. Pay range is $19.00 to $23.50 per hour. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and transfer to designated containers; steam clean or hose cans.

• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follow outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
