Job summary

Compass Group USA at Louisburg College seeks a full-time Food Service Utility to maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment clean. Schedule is 6:00 am–9:30 pm, Monday through Sunday, with weekend availability; on-campus location at 501 North Main Street, Louisburg, NC 27549; training is provided.

Starting pay is $10.22 per hour. Interviews begin after the July 4th holiday. Benefits include health and wellness programs, retirement plan, and the Instapay option through the One@Work app.

• Prior food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.

• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.

• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
