Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for a full-time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY at the IAH United Polaris Lounge in Houston, TX 77032. The schedule is 5:30 am to 2:00 pm; days may vary and online applications are accepted only.

The role maintains kitchen areas, keeps equipment clean, assists with front-of-house setup, and supports delivering supplies. This position offers full-time benefits and opportunities within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen work areas and keep equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweep and mop floors to meet sanitation standards.
• Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Remove trash and dispose of it properly; clean containers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and delivering supplies.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Distribute supplies and equipment as needed.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
