Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services in Coral Gables, FL is hiring for a full-time Food Service Utility. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, with opportunities to train and grow.

The position focuses on maintaining clean kitchen areas, supporting food prep surfaces, and assisting with setup and deliveries. Requires minimal prior food service experience; step-in training is available.

Qualifications

• Food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to train new staff.

Responsabilités

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment clean and orderly.
• Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Wash tables, walls, refrigerators and other prep surfaces.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Load/unload and deliver supplies and product as needed.
• Distribute utensils and portable equipment; follow sanitation rules.

Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full time FOOD SERVICE UTILITY positions.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
• Requirement: Food service experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train!

• Fixed Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
