Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI for Food Service Utility positions. Roles are full and part time with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time and part-time associates.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of waste according to guidelines.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Assists with loading/unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Follows outlined sanitation and safety requirements.

FOOD SERVICE UTILITY (FULL AND PART TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for full and part time FOOD SERVICE UTILITYpositions.
• Location: Carthage College - 2001 Alford Park Drive, Kenosha, WI 53140. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full and part time; Days and hours may vary. Night and weekend availability is required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous food service experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to$16.00 per hour.

Summary: Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with outlined sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
