Job summary

NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a Food Service Tech to support the Dining and Nutrition Services team. You will wash and sanitize dishes, assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and dining room setup, while ensuring clean, organized kitchen and patient-focused service.

This role offers consistent hours, no late nights, competitive pay of $14–$16 per hour, and benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance after 30 days, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, and on-the-job culinary

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dish room, kitchen, and dining areas clean and organized
• Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and food service
• Help with dining room setup and cleanup
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing food and supplies
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Provide friendly and respectful service to patients, residents, visitors, and team members
• Support the Food and Nutrition Services team wherever needed
