Job summary

Sodexo at New Mexico State University is hiring a Food Service Worker for varying shifts in a part-time role. You will prepare and serve vibrant menus while keeping work areas clean, and provide welcoming customer service that makes a positive everyday impact.

Assistance with setup, serving from counters and steam tables, station setup, and general stocking will be required. A team-oriented, reliable attitude with flexible availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and able to foster a healthy/safe working environment.
• No previous work experience required.

Responsibilities

• May work anywhere on property where food is prepared or served and assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils; provide stocking duties.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work stations.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
