Job summary

Jacksons Food Stores in Meridian, Idaho is hiring for a full-time Food Service Crew member. You will greet customers, assist with fast food and deli offerings, and help maintain clean, safe, and inviting service areas.

The role includes duties from sample promotion to cashier support and requires flexible availability for 24/7 operation. Training and advancement opportunities are offered along with competitive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and invite them back.
• Serve as the go-to expert for fast food, deli, and beverage programs.
• Sample food items to build customer interest and drive sales.
• Keep food service equipment clean and well-maintained; report issues.
• Follow sanitation, safety, prep, and storage procedures.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized service and checkout areas.
• Complete waste tracking and temperature logs as required.
• Crosstrain as a cashier and support store operations.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and hear.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.
• Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
