Job summary

Aramark is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor in Pembroke, NC to lead our Food Services Team. You will oversee staff, coordinate with the manager, and support daily operations, while ensuring safety and quality in all food production and service activities.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory, training, catering event support, and adherence to health codes. You will mentor staff, maintain logs, and promote teamwork daily.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost‑effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain safe, quality food production according to policies and procedures.
• Store food items safely and hazard‑free.
• Maintain serving schedules and follow menu specifications.
• Keep a sanitary department following health codes and regulations.
• Maintain weekly inventory.
• Prepare orders as needed for accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth, efficiency, morale, teamwork.
• Train and mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective action.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklists.
• Recommend replacement of existing equipment to meet facility needs.
• Proficient multitasking.
• Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
• Coordinate catering events and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Occasional night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings.
• Maintain staff communication via email/phone/inter‑office mail.
• May perform cashier duties as needed.
• Promote good public relations.
