Job summary

Summitbsa in Glen Jean, West Virginia, is looking for staff to deliver upmost customer service in our dining halls. You will focus on guest needs, communicate effectively, and work with kitchen teams to ensure timely service.

Responsibilities include following food safety guidelines, operating equipment, supporting meal prep, and addressing dietary restrictions. Housing and uniform are provided; work hours are 45–55 per week, with Teams communications expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age: 18+.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of culinary skills and practices in a commercial kitchen.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles demonstrating communication skills.
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (background screening).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication.

Physical & Practical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 10 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines
  • Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55
