Job summary

UPMC Memorial is seeking a Full-time Supervisor, Food Service to oversee training, supervision, and performance of food service associates, ensuring food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction across Nutrition operations.

Responsibilities include orienting and coaching new team members, scheduling to meet demand, maintaining inventories, and enforcing policies and regulatory standards while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hourly food service staff.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation.
• Ability to schedule staff and manage inventory.
• Customer-focused with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of hourly associates and ensure adherence to UPMC policies and department standards.
• Conduct orientation, training and coaching of new team members; ensure competency checks are completed.
• Coach and discipline associates per HR policies and procedures.
