Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve a variety of food items, following menus and work instructions, while using various kitchen tools safely.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site within the jail. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, understands handling regulations, and adapts quickly while collaborating with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required. Age 18+.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a correctional environment.
• Ability to work as a team and maintain food safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve meals according to planned schedules and department procedures.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook and portion food per recipes and nutrition needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy, safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
