You will work alongside a manager to coordinate operations, oversee staff, and collaborate with teammates. We look forward to your growth as you pursue what matters to you.

Job Responsibilities

1. Produce and maintain work schedules, and prepare production packets (sheets and recipes).
2. Direct daily activities and ensure food safety and quality according to policies and procedures.
3. Store food items safely and organize storage areas to prevent hazards.
4. Maintain serving schedules, ensuring food is served per menu specifications safely and properly.
5. Uphold sanitation standards in compliance with health and safety codes.
6. Maintain accurate weekly inventory records and prepare orders as needed.
7. Supervise, evaluate, and counsel employees; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
8. Ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment.
9. Train and mentor food service staff.
10. Keep logs on equipment maintenance and food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions when necessary.
11. Perform preventative maintenance and recommend equipment replacements.
12. Multitask proficiently and perform other duties as assigned by the Food Service Director or Manager.
13. Fill in for absent employees as needed and stay informed about catering events.
14. Work occasional night and weekend events, attend staff meetings, and communicate effectively with staff.
15. May perform cashier duties and promote good public relations.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Complete a sanitation course within the first year.
• Knowledge of operating cost-effective food programs.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
