ARAMARK in New York is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead a busy team and coordinate daily operations. You will supervise staff, help create and adjust schedules, and ensure food safety and quality across all serving lines in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong organizational skills, basic arithmetic, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service. Occasional night/weekend catering may be required; a sanitation course is preferred.

Qualificações

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production that ensures safety and quality.
• Ensure food items are stored in a safe, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules; ensure items meet menu specs and safety.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes.
• Maintain inventory on a weekly basis.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth and teamwork.
• Maintain logs on maintenance for equipment; complete safety checks.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
• Recommend replacement of existing equipment to meet facility needs.
• Be proficient in multi-tasking.
• Perform other duties as requested by Food Service Director or Manager.
• Fill in for absent employees as necessary.
