Job summary

Aramark is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead our passionate Food Services Team in a dynamic environment. You will work with a manager to coordinate and oversee staff, ensure safety and quality of food, and promote teamwork and growth.

Responsibilities include scheduling, directing daily activities, maintaining inventories, training staff, and upholding health and safety standards. Night and weekend catering events may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Maintain emotional control under stress
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations
• Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to ensure safety and quality per policies.
• Store food items safely and organize environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure menu specs are followed.
• Maintain sanitary department in compliance with health codes.
• Keep accurate inventory weekly.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production.
• Supervise and evaluate staff; mentor growth and teamwork.
• Maintain safe, hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Record maintenance logs for equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklists.
• Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
• Ability to multitask.
• Fill in for absent employees.
• Maintain knowledge of catering events and ensure timely delivery.
• Attend food service meetings with staff.
• Maintain communication with staff via various channels.
• May perform cashier duties.
• Promote good public relations.
