Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services in Bucks County, PA is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead the on-site team, supervise staff, coordinate with the manager, and ensure safe, quality food service during daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and production packets (production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Ensure food safety and quality according to policies, procedures, and department requirements.
• Store food items safely and in an organized, hazard-free environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure items follow menu specs per Aramark policies.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory on a weekly basis.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; counsel; promote growth, efficiency, morale, and teamwork.
• Maintain a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs on equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance checklist.
• Recommend replacement of existing equipment as needed.
• Proficiency in multi-tasking.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Food Service Director or Manager.
• Fill in for absent employees at location.
• Maintain knowledge of daily catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Work occasional night and weekend catered events.
• Attend food service meetings with staff.
• Maintain communication with staff and office channels.
• May perform cashier duties as needed.
• Promote good public relations.
