Shiloh Home, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Specialist to join our team at the Family Resource Pavilion in Centennial, Colorado. The facility includes a school, respite facility, event center, café serving lunch, and a coffee shop open throughout the day.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in food service or related settings.
• Catering, banquet, or event-serving experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.
• Must have a valid Colorado driver's license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for programs and residential campuses.
• Follow approved menus, recipes, production schedules, and food service procedures.
• Prepare, package, and distribute meals for multiple residential campuses.
• Assist with food preparation, cooking, setup and service for special events.
• Receive and organize food donations, supplies, and deliveries from vendors.
• Maintain accurate and organized food and supply inventory.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas.
• Follow applicable Colorado Dept. of Education, USDA, and other regulatory standards.
• Complete required production records and documentation.
• Support regulatory reviews to ensure state compliance.
• Work collaboratively to maintain an efficient kitchen environment.
• Perform other food service duties as assigned.

About the Position

Shiloh Home, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Specialist to join our team at the Family Resource Pavilion in Centennial, Colorado.

The Family Resource Pavilion is a unique, community-focused facility that includes a school, respite facility, event center, café serving lunch, and coffee shop open throughout the day.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, takes pride in organization and cleanliness, and works well as part of a team. The Food Service Specialist will play an important role in preparing nutritious meals, supporting special events, maintaining inventory and supplies, and ensuring compliance with applicable food service and safety standards.

Compensation

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected pay for this Colorado position is $20.33 per hour. Actual compensation may be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare nutritious, well-balanced meals for Shiloh Home, Inc. programs and residential campuses.

• Support administrative and regulatory reviews to ensure compliance with state requirements.
• Work collaboratively with team members to maintain an efficient, positive, and professional kitchen environment.
• Perform other food service duties as assigned.

Schedule

This position requires flexibility in scheduling based on catering, events, and program needs.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in food service, meal preparation, commercial kitchens, cafeterias, schools, restaurants, catering, or institutional food service required.
