Job summary

IKEA Food is seeking a Food Service Team Member in Orlando, FL. You’ll prepare and maintain menu items according to the IKEA Food concept, assist customers with purchases and process transactions, and keep dining areas clean and stocked.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, managing the Swedish Food Market merchandising, and ensuring food safety and FIFO stock rotation. This role is part-time, 12–20 hours weekly with night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to follow food safety and health standards.
• Comfort with cash handling and POS transactions.
• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept.
• Respond to customer inquiries to support informed purchases and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain equipment operation and perform preventive and cleaning maintenance.
• Keep dining areas clean and stocked, including dishes and utensils.
• Manage the Swedish Food Market merchandising, pricing, stock rotation and cleaning of sampling areas.
• Ensure accurate price communication across digital platforms, menu boards, and tags.
• Adhere to FIFO, expiration dates, and sustainability standards; follow food safety guidelines.
