Responsibilities

• Prepare a daily report verifying transactions.
• Understand what is included in a meal.
• Ensure storage of food in a sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment and knives.
• Timely preparation of various food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance customer appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy guidelines.
• Communicate with Manager daily to prepare the day’s menu.
• Supervise food temperature requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Clean and sanitize counters and steam tables.
• Perform general kitchen duties including sweeping, mopping and ware washing.
• Maintain garbage collection sites in a neat, sanitary fashion.
