Job Summary

Prepares and serves all food items including food for special diets and special events.Responsible for following regulatory requirements.Assistswith coordination of food service activities.

Professional Skills

  • Service Delivery-Demonstratesthe ability to implement, develop, and manage a variety of services, including financial, food, human resources, information, and transportation services. Ensures all services are delivered with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement. Applies corrective actions as needed and incorporates best practices and innovative approaches to service delivery.
  • Food Service Integrity-Maintainsstrict adherence to all regulatory and safety standards. Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen utensils, equipment, and all food service areas, including serving lines, storage spaces, and dining areas.
  • Food Service Nutrition and Sanitation -Supports a safe and healthy environment for clients and staff bymaintaininghigh sanitation standards and ensuring compliance with nutritional guidelinesestablishedby the USDA and Bureau of Child Nutrition.
