Food Service Room Service Assistant page is loaded## Food Service Room Service Assistantlocations: NCH 800 W Central Rd Arlington Heightstime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R41296**Hourly Pay Range:**$17.43 - $24.40 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Food Service Room Service Assistant* Location: Arlington Heights, IL* Part Time: 12 hours/week* Hours: Days and some evenings, rotating weekends and holidays* Required Travel: No**A Brief Overview:** Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager assists the department in the clerical aspects of preparation for patient meal service through accurate menu processing and assisting patients with menu selections. **What you will do:*** Reviews the hospital in- patient diet report twice daily to determine if patients have diet orders and their accuracy. Receives requests for diet changes via computer, fax; or written format during downtime. Makes necessary diet changes, keeps “Enter/Edit” computer screen and Room Service Order System updated and documents the number of meals served each day.* Promptly and courteously takes calls and offers assistance to patients and/or patient’s family for menu requests, processes orders and ensures that the menu order is accurate.
