Job summary

The Kidz Club is seeking a dedicated Food Service Provider to manage our pediatric mealtime operations. You will order from vendors, prepare nutritious meals, and keep kitchen and dining areas clean and welcoming for children.

Responsibilities include ensuring health regulation compliance, handling inspections, and maintaining documentation with confidence. This is a Monday–Friday day-shift role offering comprehensive benefits and a chance to make a difference in kids' lives.

Qualifications

• Proficient in food service, cooking, and kitchen maintenance.
• Food service experience within the last three years.
• Clear, friendly communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills.
• Current negative TB skin test (PPD).
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Willingness to acquire and maintain Child and Adult Care Food Program certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen operations including ordering from vendors and meal prep.
• Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean, welcoming food service areas.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations and documentation.
• Act as liaison with health inspectors and handling inspections with confidence.
• Collaborate to ensure smooth mealtime experience for children.

Join our team of passionate pediatric healthcare professionals at The Kidz Club! We believe a good meal is about more than food - it's about comfort, care, and connection. We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Food Service Provider to keep our kitchen running smoothly and our kids smiling at mealtimes.

About the Role

As our Food Service Provider, you'll take the lead on all things kitchen-related — from ordering from our vendors and preparing nutritious meals, to keeping our food service and eating areas spotless and welcoming. You'll play a key role in making sure our center stays fully compliant with health department regulations, and you'll be the friendly face who meets with inspectors and handles documentation with confidence and ease.

This is a Monday through Friday, day-shift position. We're always closed nights, Sundays, and major holidays, so you can enjoy a schedule that works with your life.

What We're Looking For

• Proficient in food service, cooking, and kitchen maintenance
• Food service experience within the last three years
• Current food service certification (or willingness to acquire and maintain certification)
• Clear, friendly communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability and willingness to be compliant with Child and Adult Care Food Program (training provided)
• Basic computer skills
