Job summary

SSP America is hiring Food Service Workers in Sterling, VA. We offer full-time and part-time positions with great pay starting at $17.50 per hour, plus benefits and referral bonuses. Our team delivers fast, friendly service and maintains high standards in a busy environment.

On-demand pay via Fuego helps you access earned wages between paydays. Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing orders in the POS, handling payments, and keeping equipment and areas clean.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in a food service environment.
• Verbal and written communication is essential.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills to operate a cash register and make change.
• Food handlers permit as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Responsible for setup, maintenance, cleaning, and breakdown of machinery and equipment.
• Complete opening, ongoing, and closing checklists as required.
• Return items, clean and organize work/storage areas, and manage trash.
• Perform cleaning tasks per health standards.
