Job summary

Penn State University Housing and Food Services is hiring for a part-time food service position. Responsibilities include food preparation, stocking made to order stations, and dishwashing. Applicants should be organized and have prior food service experience; a non-student role with two available shifts.

Schedules include Monday–Friday 10:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. (20 hours/week, $14.00/hr) and Saturday–Sunday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. (16 hours/week, $15.00/hr). Employment is contingent on background checks.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be organized and dedicated to exceptional customer service.
• Previous food service experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation, including usage of knives and kitchen equipment.
• Stocking and operating made to order and self-serve food stations.
• Washing dishes and general cleaning.
