Responsibilities

• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to improve appearance and appeal.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and manager directions.
• Daily communication with the Manager to prepare the day’s menu.
• Maintain cleanliness of work and storage areas.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and equipment; sweep and mop.
• Maintain garbage areas in a sanitary fashion.
• Perform other duties as assigned in the kitchen.
