Job summary

You will collaborate with the manager to understand daily menus and ensure proper food handling and serving per schedules. The position requires adherence to safety policies, consistent attention to detail, and the ability to perform duties across kitchen stations,

Qualifications

• Be able to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report verifying transactions.
• Ensure storage of food in an accurate and sanitary manner.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Timely preparation of a variety of food items and beverages.
• Add garnishments to enhance eye appeal and customer happiness.
• Coordinate major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking equipment.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow uniform policy and connect with the Manager daily for the day’s menu.
• Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
• Maintain counters, sanitize steam tables, and other equipment.
• Sweep, mop, and perform ware washing as per procedures.
• Maintain garbage collection site in a neat, sanitary fashion.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including other kitchen areas.
