Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist the manager with meal preparation, keep accurate meal records, and support daily reporting. This role focuses on quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety in a correctional facility.

You will prepare meals according to the planned menu, monitor temperature, store items safely, and help with general kitchen duties. The position requires ability to work quickly under pressure and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Food service certification is preferred or required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and cash receipts.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety in all kitchen areas.
• Operate and care for kitchen equipment safely.
• Assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers and equipment.
• Follow department policies and uniform requirements.
