Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume kitchen and dining operation. You will oversee staff, ensure food safety, and drive sales while maintaining exceptional customer service and efficient operations.

You will work with the GM on scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and talent development. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years restaurant management experience.
• 3+ years managing operations with annual sales of $1M+.
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• Excellent communication and customer satisfaction focus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen with proper food safety procedures.
• Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food prep.
• Assist the GM with task execution, safety practices, scheduling, cash integrity, and reporting.
• Coach and develop staff in preparing and packaging customer orders timely to maximize service.
• Understand financial reporting including P&L to drive business changes and opportunities.
• Address customer feedback to improve the dining experience.

You will lead staff to provide exceptional customer service, managing processes, and executing strategies to enhance sales and customer satisfaction. Job Functions:

• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety procedures
• Drive sales of products and services through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation
• Assist the General Manager of the facility with proper task execution and completion, follow effective safety practices, schedule and cash integrity, talent acquisition and development, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
• Work alongside team members to coach and develop in preparing and packaging customer orders in a timely manner and to maximize customer service expectations
• Understandfinancial reporting which includes profit and loss statements to affect business changes and capitalize on opportunities
• Address customer feedback and work to improve the overall dining experience

Experience:

• 3+ years restaurant management experience
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $1M+
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements

Skills and Demands:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer satisfaction focus
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Frequent lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds or more
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening
