Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge is seeking a Food Service Manager to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safe food handling, and manage staff across meals for clients. This role requires strong leadership, scheduling, and inventory skills within an institutional setting.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety regulations, HACCP, and cost-conscious purchasing while delivering nutritious meals and coordinating with donors and vendors.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of Food Service supervisory experience in an institutional setting.
• Documented one year freedom from chemical use problems.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to complete background check process.
• Demonstrated organizational and delegation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate MnTC's mission, Culture of Honor, and core values.

Mansioni

• Purchasing and inventory control: order food and supplies, coordinate pickups, maintain donor contacts, and track storage locations.
• Safety and sanitation: maintain HACCP procedures, ensure daily kitchen inspections, and enforce staff hygiene.
• Scheduling, supervision, and training: plan menus, create work schedules, and oversee staff, interns, and clients in meal prep.
• Food preparation and delivery: plan nutritious meals, ensure proper portions, and timely transportation of meals to programs.
