Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Service Manager 2 to lead daily operations for our food team at HMH Old Bridge Medical Center, a 113-bed acute care hospital in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Responsibilities include managing people, driving cost control, ensuring safety standards, and delivering exceptional patient and client satisfaction while developing a high-performing team.

This role requires an Associate's degree preferred and offers growth opportunities within the Career Band.

Qualifications

• Food service management experience with focus on purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, and forecasting.
• Experience using automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and workplace safety standards.

Join a leadership role overseeing multi-functional food service operations with a focus on client satisfaction, retention, and operational performance. This position supports revenue and profit goals through disciplined execution of programs, safety standards, and daily operational oversight while fostering an engaged and well-supported team.

Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management.

Pay Range

$58735 per year - $76010 per year
