Job summary

Huck’s Food and Fuel is seeking a Food Service Lead to oversee the department's operations, ensure profitability and top customer service. You will manage schedules, training, safety, and store communications while upholding company policies in an employee-owned environment.

As part of Huck’s, you will promote the Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and work to maintain inventory, control costs, and deliver a high standard of service across all shifts.

• Proper and efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
• Ensure profitability and high level of quality and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Opens the food service department on time and ensures readiness for business.
• Schedules associates to meet business demands using fixed schedules.
• Provides prompt and courteous service to customers.
• Communicates effectively with store associates and management.
• Follows all federal, state and local laws pertaining to department operation.
• Models appropriate conduct for other store associates.
• Controls variable expenses of the department.
• Ensures proper uniform compliance and customer service.
• Maintains paperwork accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintains inventory and loss within guidelines; conducts inventories as directed.
• Trains new associates on proper job duties.
• Promotes safety and maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Promotes Huck’s Bucks Loyalty app and assists customers with sign-up and usage.
