Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to assist with food prep, portioning, and serving customers. You will learn on the job under supervision and build strong connections with guests.

Responsibilities include station setup, food preparation per recipes, portion control, temperature logging, and quality checks. You will be part of a team that may work across concessions, catering, and events, with emphasis on safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting/transporting hot food items.
• Ability to work in kitchen with heated equipment, steam, loud noise, chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Use accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management to items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain a clean work station and ensure sanitation of utensils and surfaces.
• Dispose of waste accurately from the service line.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assist with daily safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in various areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
• Perform tasks as requested by your manager.
